Our parts department is fully stocked with genuine manufacturer parts for a wide range of forklift attachments. If a component wears down while out on hire, our team can provide immediate replacement parts, included as part of our service, helping reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency for our customers.
In addition to stock parts, the department specialises in producing custom-made, bespoke components to fit specific equipment or operational requirements. This includes items such as camera rigs for Orlaco forklift cameras, safety shields, and other specialised attachments. By producing custom parts in-house, our engineers can strengthen equipment, improve reliability, and ensure components integrate perfectly with existing attachments. Our workshop is also equipped with CNC machinery used to cut and prepare cylinder rods and tubes for hydraulic components. Precision machining ensures these parts are produced accurately and consistently, which is essential for hydraulic systems that must operate smoothly under heavy loads. This capability allows our engineers to produce and replace critical components quickly while maintaining the high standards expected from Abbey equipment.
In addition to engineering and machining capabilities, Abbey operates a dedicated painting facility within the workshop. Once attachments have been repaired or reconditioned, they are professionally prepared and coated to ensure a durable finish. This helps protect the equipment from corrosion and environmental wear while ensuring attachments leave the workshop in excellent condition.
Supporting our workshop operations are multiple warehouses stocked with more than 2,000 forklift attachments ready for hire. This large inventory allows Abbey to respond quickly to customer needs while ensuring attachments are properly maintained and prepared before entering service.
