Cold Store Cameras

Cold Store forklift cameras are built for extreme low-temperature environments, giving operators clear visibility even in the harshest freezer conditions. Standard cameras can struggle in sub-zero warehouses, fogging up, freezing, or losing reliability. Cold store cameras are designed to overcome these challenges, functioning consistently in temperatures as low as -40°C.

  • Reliable in freezing environments, operating down to -40°C.
  • Heated lens systems to prevent ice and fog.
  • High-definition video feeds for accurate load and fork positioning.
  • Reduces blind spots for safer manoeuvring in narrow aisles or high-rack areas.
  • Rugged waterproof and shockproof construction for demanding cold storage conditions.

Equipment Description.

These cameras are rugged, heated, and waterproof, ensuring they continue to deliver sharp HD images regardless of frost, ice, or condensation. Built-in heating prevents lens fogging and ice build-up, while durable housings protect against shocks and temperature swings when forklifts move between cold and ambient areas. Operators benefit from front-view, fork-view, or rear-view camera setups that eliminate blind spots and make it easier to handle pallets safely and accurately.

Fork-mounted cameras, such as the View-on-Forks, allow operators to see precisely where the forks are entering the pallet pockets, reducing the risk of damage to goods or racking.

Cab-mounted cameras provide a wider perspective, helping drivers navigate tight aisles, corners, and high-racking areas. Both options enhance safety, efficiency, and ergonomics, letting operators work confidently without craning their necks or guessing the load position.

As with many Orlaco cameras, cold store systems offer onboard recording, capturing video for operational monitoring, training, or safety audits. This added feature supports businesses in identifying improvements and maintaining a safer working environment.

Cold store cameras are essential in frozen food distribution, chilled logistics, pharmaceutical storage, and other temperature-controlled warehouses. They improve visibility, reduce accidents, and make daily operations faster and more precise, helping operators stay safe while maintaining productivity in sub-zero environments.
