Push Pull Attachment

A Push Pull Attachment is engineered for efficient palletless handling, allowing loads to be moved on slip sheets instead of wooden pallets. By gripping the slip sheet lip with a hydraulic gripper bar and extending a pantograph mechanism, the attachment pulls the load onto durable platens and then pushes it off smoothly at the delivery point. This controlled transfer process supports stable handling while making far better use of available space in trailers and containers.

  • Enables palletless handling using slip sheets.
  • Increases trailer and container load capacity.
  • Reduces pallet purchase and storage costs.
  • Hydraulic pantograph system for smooth load transfer.
  • Strong frame design with good operator visibility.

Equipment Description.

In operations where shipping density directly affects cost, a Push Pull Attachment offers a clear commercial advantage. Slip sheets occupy minimal space compared to pallets, enabling higher product volumes per load. Removing pallets from the process also reduces material purchase costs, storage requirements and associated handling time within the warehouse. The result is a leaner, more space efficient logistics operation.

The structure of the attachment is built for strength and visibility. Even when extended, the design maintains clear sight lines for the operator and protects critical hydraulic components from impact or damage. Installation flexibility allows mounting onto a standard carriage or directly onto forks, making integration into existing equipment straightforward. With typical capacities suited to loads around 1,600 kg to 2,000 kg, it supports a wide range of packaged and bagged goods.

Push Pull Attachments are widely used in food and beverage production, construction materials, agriculture, manufacturing and export operations where maximising container utilisation is essential.

This unit has been fully reconditioned through the Abbey workshop. Hydraulic systems, structural sections and wear components have been carefully inspected, serviced and performance tested to ensure dependable operation and consistent functionality in service.
