Load Pin Weighing

The Load Pin system is a bespoke weighing solution developed by Abbey specifically for JCB Teletruk applications. Designed to meet a precise operational requirement, it provides accurate, real-time weight measurement by capturing load forces directly through the pin itself. Since the load pin operates independently of the truck’s hydraulics, this system offers a simple and reliable way to introduce weighing without the need for additional hydraulic integration or modification.

This makes the load pin particularly effective in applications where weighing needs to take place during handling. With live weight data available to the operator, tasks such as bagging can be carried out with greater control, allowing materials to be weighed in and out as part of the normal workflow. This not only improves accuracy but also helps maintain efficiency by removing the need for separate weighing steps.

Accuracy is a core feature of the Load Pin. The system is designed to perform within 1% of its capacity, with clear graduations in 20kg increments. This ensures operators can rely on consistent and precise weight readings, whether handling bulk materials or working within tighter tolerances. Having this level of confidence in the data supports safer operation and reduces the risk of overloading.

The design also focuses on durability and longevity. All components are isolated from the load, which reduces the risk of accidental damage during operation.
