RAVAS SafeCheck

The system works by monitoring pressure within the forklift’s hydraulic circuit. A sensor installed via a T-coupling measures the oil pressure generated when a load is lifted and converts this reading into an estimated weight value. When the weight on the forks rises above the configured limit, the system immediately triggers an audible alarm, alerting the operator that the load needs to be reduced.

Once the weight falls back below the preset threshold, the alarm automatically stops. This simple warning system helps drivers recognise overload situations quickly and take corrective action before continuing the lift.

The maximum permitted weight can be entered using a keypad on the indicator, allowing the system to be configured to match the operating limits of the truck. SafeCheck can also work alongside weighing fork boards and other front-end equipment, making it suitable for a wide range of forklift applications.

For operations that require additional insight during lifting, RAVAS SafeLoad provides extended information such as load centre and mast position. SafeCheck, however, is designed around a single clear purpose: giving operators an immediate warning when a lift exceeds the safe weight limit.
